Scoring stats: A, BS, FOW, GWG, G, Hit, PIM, +/-, Defense Scoring (2G+A), PGI, SGI, SOG, Tk, TOI (skaters), SV, SHO, Min (goalies), W, GAA and SV% (14 skater and 6 goalie stats).

Salary Cap: 115% of NHL cap. Player cap hits are actual cap hits in NHL. Contract expirations are based on actual RFA and UFA expirations in the NHL.

Rosters: daily lineups with min 15 active and max 5 bench, 4 minor and 10 prospects. Only active and bench players count towards salary cap.

FAAB: the league uses FAAB (virtual cash) for awards and fees, including FA bidding. The amount of available FAAB is important to roster building and will be used during the offseason auctions to buy additional players.

Offseason: trading is open year-around and it's never quiet. League has RFA auctions in July, UFA auctions in August and general draft in early September. FA wire is closed during the offseason.

The Bearflaggers community consists of three dynasty leagues (AHL, BFHL and WHL) and an invitation-only annual H2H league (KJI) with a free shot at making $50. The dynasty leagues are complex, multi-cat, salary cap-based leagues based on real-world NHL contracts. But guys are super-active.

Team 2 is gone. Team 1 is left and it's surprising. It has the most FAAB in the whole league and will be the chip leader in the fun offseason auctions (where FAAB is used to be bidding on UFAs like Burns and Marchand and UFA goalies).
