2020 draft eligible and the best prospect coming out of Quebec since Lemiuex. All kidding aside I was lucky enough to get to watch him play for about 15minutes this past winter as he was playing at the same rink my nephew was and he was the best prospect I have seen at that age since Lindros. I'm not a scout or anything but have been watching junior hockey for close to 30 years now and know a special player when I see one. I never saw Crosby at that age but saw Tavares and McDavid and he is more advanced in my eyes than either of them were.

He will be going first in the QMJHL draft ahead of a bunch of really good 2019 draft eligible prospects (best depth for a QMJHL Draft Pool in 10 years) later this month so I just thought I would throw his name out here really early so anyone in leagues where you can draft kids at any age can throw a late round pick at him and grab a superstar in the making for cheap. Also so I can look back in 2022 when he leads the league in scoring and feel like I'm a clairvoyant !

Keeping pace with Zadina up near the top of the scoring race as a 16 year old in the Q:

Crosby put up 135 in 59 gp at 16 in the Q... so I'm not fully convinced he's better than Sid... I'm not sure I need to dig into him as all my leagues require a player to be drafted before they're eligible to be picked or added. I'll hear more than enough about him by his draft day that I won't need to research, heh.

    He is sickening.

I have been making a point to go see every Moose game vs Rimouski just to watch him. I am shocked he is not draft eligible for 2 more years. He is going to be something special. He has like 10 OT GWG this year and very few PPP, but is among league leaders.

I went to a lot of Moose games to watch Zadina and see what the fuss is about. Yeah Zadina is good. Xavier Parent is probably going to be very good next year too.

But Boy oh boy once I saw Lafreniere, I was like WTF? I quickly checked my phone to find out why I had not heard about him in prospect discussions for next years draft only to find out he is not being drafted till 2020.

If he improves this much every year like he has been doing, we have a generational player on our hands.
