Need to cut 2 from my farm

Dynasty League. I hate to lose any of them but Im required to cut 2 to make room. Ive highlighted my possibilities.

I would pick Leivo and Rasmus.

LEivo becuase there are a tonne of young guys in Toronto he won't get prime minutes.

Rasumus because I like your other D minors a lot better!


Notes:

Weal ended the season playing with Giroux, I think he gets another contract and will see decent minutes.

Greenway and Gusev, keep them because I suggested dropping a different LW in Leivo

I'd cut Leivo and Lazar.

Leafs have a glut of young top 6 wingers that I think are better than Leivo, not sure he will ever get prime minutes there. I don't think Lazar ever becomes more than a 3rd liner with some multicat production, nothing that is irreplaceable.

Impressive farm team... another vote for Leivo and Lazar, nothing about them tells me they're top 6 players.

Lazar for sure. 2nd drop would be between Crouse and Greenway for me.

I'm with PenguinHunter here. Leivo and R. Anderson are expendable.

another vote for leivo and lazar, and i think there's a huge difference between those two and all the guys above them. EVERYONE else on your list besides for those two are quality prospects, and i don't expect much, if anything, from those two.
even if leivo gets moved i wouldn't expect much from him.

I would (and do) keep Rasmus Andersson. He has a higher upside than his reputation suggests IMO. He's jumped ahead of the Flames other D prospects and I think he'll be in a full-time position in CGY in October.

Lazar seems like an easy cut given how many NHL games he's played. I assume he must be getting close to having to be promoted, and has showed nothing.

Then Leivo....I don't see a spot for him.

Greenway & Lazar.

Leivo has 18pts in 41 games at the NHL level, and both Bozak and JVR should move on in the next 2 seasons. Possibly others in the top 9 like Komarov will move on. I think Leivo books a 2nd line gig somewhere in two yrs and scores in the high 30s, low 40s.

Another vote for R. Andersson and J. Leivo! Your prospect defensive core is pretty good. No reason to keep Andersson on board. Leivo has a ton of young talent ahead of him in Toronto. Could and probably will end up a bottom six guy with low minutes.
