I doubt Vegas wants anything to do with Lack or Ward. Too many better alternatives out there.

Gotta feel for lack a bit.. It was looking like next year may be his chance. It still might as I could see him and darling splitting the role. I think ward may be the odd man out here.

One can only hope Ward would be the odd man out here! Although could be, the best backup in the league.
Don't worry though, they won't play the new guy.
I dunno, I'm sure the Hurricanes will bungle this somehow too.
Don't get me wrong, Ward has a storied career. But its time to look to the future of the club.

i think his makes it even more likely that bishop winds up in dallas. I had posted a while back that darling/bishop would wind up in Carolina/dallas, with Carolina more likely for darling since they have two other starters making around 3mil this season, and darling will be a lot cheaper than bishop.
still a slight chance that if bishop doesn't get the big money deal he's looking for that he winds up in philly, but I think dallas is desperate and will show him the money, especially after buying out one of their other goalies (and trying to trade the other one to vegas along with a draft pick).
