A 12-team 2C/2LW/2RW is "shallow".
If you were to give players a value from 1-100, with McDavid/Crosby being a 100.

You'd find something like this:
70 Quality of a Waiver Wire Center
60 Quality of a Waiver Wire Wing

So... if R.Johansen is a 75... he's still not as valuable as wing, say Hoffman, that might be a 70.
This is why Voracek & Hoffman are more valuable. They are both DEFINITELY top 24 on their wing... and they are LW/RW, which is great.
Ry-Jo is C-only (or should be) and he may not even be a top 20 center.

re: Ry-Jo vs. Kesler vs. Atkinson... that's about need.
If a team needs a wing, Atkinson is the pick.
If a team needs a multi-cat center for the next year or two, I take Kesler.
If a team needs the best long-term player, I take Ry-Jo.

Never heard of this Field guy. Did he play in Europe or Russia last season? Anyone have anymore info about him?

Without shots and dual positions I agree with Pengwin here... Though I am a sucker for Kesler right now
