Ghost or Werenski - Points only

I have room for one, not both.

My F keepers are Laine, Draisaitl, Ehlers and Barkov. I could keep both Ghost and Werenski and drop Barkov, but this makes no sense to me.

Which one is my keeper?

I REALLY liked how werenski looked in round 1. It was probably closer for me before the playoffs but werenski will be ahead of Gost in my draft order next year in any league (including points only).

Will Werenski have a down year like Ghost did this year?

Will Ghost bounce out of a sophomore slump and have a huge year?

I would have to think Philly should score more next year... but will Provorov be the benefit of that? OR will he have a sophomore slump and give Ghost the reins back.

As a biased Flyer fan... I would probably take Werenski cause I always take non-Flyers in fantasy when its close.

I like keeping both defensemen.

Barkov is a bandaid boy extraordinare. And the 2 dmen are the top in the league at their age group and both were top rookies.

Ghost for me... Down year and his year end figures are still pretty good IMO. Werenski and the Nackets wil regress IMO

I want Barkov over the 2 dmen for sure.
Then, Werenski would be over Ghost in my draft list.

No do not drop Barkov... he's still only 21!!!!!!!!!! I keep Werenski, he's just feels like the real deal and is the safer of the two Dmen. Even with Ghost's Boom potential, I don't see it really being anything above Werenski's Boom potential.
Barkov & Werenski for me without a shadow of a doubt.

Out of the box question, why would you not consider keeping Pietrangelo after his 48 point season? Heck I'd consider keeping him over Gostisbehere as well, so perhaps you have a better chance at picking up either of those Ds in the draft and keeping Barkov with one D. Perceived value plays a part, and Gostisbehere's 39 points might sour on a few people, especially in a keep 5.

Do you know your draft slot and other type of players who could be available in the draft, both D and F?

By the way, you should update your signature to clarify how many you keep as it just looks like you keep the entire roster.

I did think about Pietrangelo, but I am going for ceiling. I think Pietrangelo's ceiling is 55, and his floor is 45. His ceiling is very good, and his floor makes him very attractive, but ceiling wins this pool. Ghost and Werenski are both very young, and their ceilings, IMO, could eclipse Pietrangelo's - although they both have lower floors than Pietrangelo, at this point.

If I drop Barkov, he would be gone well before any D were picked.

I have no idea where I will be drafting next October (first, last or middle), but I do know that my first available pick will be in the 2nd round, and that I will likely use it on my 2nd G.

I'm with Sulla expecting a team-wide regression in Columbus next year, so I voting Ghost. Wondering about keeping Bennett here though- is just because he fits into the points limits?

This would be my advice as well.

I think Gostisbehere vs Werenski is a push but I do like Werenski's spot more than Gostisbehere's.
