Who has the better outlook? Sam Bennett 0.8ppg or Morgan Rielly 0.95ppg?
Do I trade my Bennett?

-How many Fs and D do you start?
-Are salaries the player's cap hit, or determined otherwise?
-Are you able to wait on what contract Sam Bennett gets?
-Do you have the cap space to take on Rielly's 5.5M contract?

Start 4 lw, 4 rw, 4 c, 6 d. Salaries are actual and I have the cap space.
Currently I'm short on d, but can rectify that other ways. Just curious as to what people feel rielly and Bennett can turn into.

I don't think we're going to be seeing too much more from Morgan Rielly than we did this season. I do think Bennett has some more developing to do, but his breakout may not be next year. If you want immediate production, and can fit what will likely be the bigger contract, then Rielly would be the play. Especially if you're in need of defence. It's pretty close to even at this point though.

hits and goal bonus makes me want to keep Bennett, one area Bennett rocks right now is hits. if he can find a 55pt offensive game he's almost as valuable as Lucic has been. If Bennett can see his ATOI creep above 17min, we'll see a boost in production.

Rielly played really well this playoffs & this owner is trying a sell high-buy low combo. Smart play - I would counter for a Dman already over 40/45pts - or damn close. Dumba, Trouba, Barrie something in that level. Rielly's lack of point shot will limit his G ability & he doesn't really fill peripheral cats either
