i only saw the replay once after the hit and it looked like ovy turned last second which caused kadri to hit leg.

and as expected ovy is back on the ice so it does seem like he sold the call a bit. still a well deserved penalty and karma helped giving them the pp goal. no surprise considering the caps look much better on the pp when they aren't going out of their way to give ovy a one time shot even if they have better options

Ill preface this with I'm not a leaf fan. That was a clean hit. Not Kadris fault at all. Ovi tried to get out of the way too late and caught his knee. Shouldn't have been a penalty, not even close. Ref called it to make sure the game stayed under control and because ovi faked an injury, and he's ovi so you can't have him injured without a penalty (lame).

Tough call but I think Toronto wins this in overtime. Washington doesn't deserve to win this series so far just like the hawks didn't deserve to win a game.
