    Default Giroux vs Radulov

    Multicat points league h2h, but goals and power play points rule. Who do you like? This might be my decision to make for my 14th keeper. 10 teams.

    No fw, should have mentioned that, and just forwards for forwards.

    G=2, a=1, ppg=1, ppa=.5, shg=1, sha=.5, PIM =.2, major=1, misconduct =1, hit=.05 I think that is about it. 25 year league, we've always liked the truculence.

    But they are both chippy.

    Based on the G focus I'm going Radulov.

    That was my initial thought. G had 3 points more this year, but his trending has me doubting him, along with Rads post season surge.

    My thoughts on Rads can be found in my latest capped article. Basically he's a good bet to continue where he was, but the shot rate is holding him down.

    Good read. Was going to give you hell if there wasn't a link! My one extra thought, Rads looks to just be one of the physical bull freaks where age isn't going to hit for a while.

    And I love how excited he gets when anyone on his team scores

    Hahaha, if it wasn't in my sig then I would have given you one, no worries
    Yeah, it can be tough to tell when age will hit some players though. On first glance, his game does seem to lend itself well to time, but it's definitely not a given.

    Also completely agree, his enthusiasm is very contagious!

    Giroux. He has been trending down but even then, Radulov had a great season and didn't clear 60 pts. He is north of 30. He is very strong and in good physical condition, but I would still bet on Giroux outscoring him every year, all things being equal.

    I don't think Radulov has much on Giroux if anything on straight points and G will slay him on PP so G is your man.

    I may be stubborn but I have not thrown the towel in on Giroux yet. I think he's definitely a notch above Radulov, even in this format.

    PS: I like how you count a misconduct as if it were a major. In a H2H, it takes 1 meaningless scrap after the final whistle and refs will start dishing out 10-min misconducts. That can really impact a weekly matchup so limiting the damage by considering it a major helps even out the PIM category (especially if the guy gets a major AND a game-misconduct on the same play)

    Definitely looks to be G with most here. Radulov would be easier to redraft. Thanks for the input everyone
