i dont think it could have happened to a better guy tho. He is really enjoying it. Like he looks so happy in a picture with Auston Matthews parents haha. Like for like a "Fan-scot" (mascot) he's the right personality for it. Seems out going, easy going, funny, and a true hockey guy.

Glad he's takin full advantage of his 15min. He even knows it's his 15min and he said he's loving it with an interview with 88.1Fm.

Gotta say, I'm a we bit jealous of the guy.
Not only did he meet Mr & Mrs Matthews, he got free tickets to game 3 and another guy asked him to be his guest at Game 4.

That is what I don't get.

It's actually pretty sad (as a society) that that's why it's gone viral.

I think it's more of the fact that here's a guy who made the trek out to Washington, shaved a Stanley Cup and Go Leafs Go into his hair/head and painted his face up in hostile territory.

I don't think the cigarette has much to do with it other than the fact that it signifies the years of futility and nervousness this organization has provided driving it's fans to a certain vice, in this case, smoking.

Not everyone is able to go on such a trip, and dye their beard or shave their hair due to family/work commitments, so they latch on to someone who can.

He seems like a pretty solid guy from the interviews, which just makes him easier to like actually.
