Would say win / win - you got the better goalie long term, and can afford to give up Shatty. He got the better short term deal.
You got younger in goal - so long term winner.

Jones is the better option for sure, but I'd be hard pressed to get rid of Shattenkirk, especially since Brassard hasn't done much of anything this season (39 p in 81 games, ouch).
11 team keeper league with salary cap (points only)

    MY TEAM (start 13F, 6D, 1G):
    FWDS: N. Kucherov, S. Stamkos, R. O’Reilly, J. Hughes, W. Karlsson, P. Kessel, B. Point, F. Vatrano, E. Pettersen, R. Rakell, C. Keller, N. Niederreiter, K. Labanc

    DEF: J. Trouba, J. Morrissey, T. Krug, F. Hronek, S. Jones, D. Nurse
    GOALIE: A. Vasilevskiy
    BENCH: V. Mete, S. Niku, R. Andersson, T. Hirose, C. Glass, T. Jurco, C. McElhinney
NOTES: We can only send players down if they get injured, otherwise they pass through waivers and we lose them for nothing + we have to pay half their cap.

I would rather the Hank/Shatty side. And that's with me really liking Martin Jones.

I like the shatty side as well.

This is the kind of trade I think a lot of people make looking too far ahead. Lundquist and Jones should be fairly even for the next two years if healthy. And goalies are super hard to predict year to year so it wouldn't shock me if Lundquist was actually better. Don't look farther than 1-2 years ahead, there will be ample opportunity for things to change between now and then. So call the goalies close for 2 years, all things being equal.

Then we have shatty vs brassard. Shatty is the better player and will be for 2 years pretty much no matter where he ends up. Top that off with him being in a tougher position to fill with quality and this trade becomes obvious to me.

Point is - having Karlsson, Provorov, Werenski on D, you can afford to lose Shatty in short term, will need to find a long term replacement - but in 20 team league shouldn't be too hard.

Love the Jones side he should anchor your goalies for a longer term than Henrik. Agree with what was said above on your defense situation.

If I'm understanding your league is a dynasty essentially? Maybe instead of Brassard it would make more sense to get a draft pick, especially since if I'm seeing this right you have 2 players on your IR you'd have to make room for to keep.

FSC is always looking for dedicated dynasty league managers. We run 8 standard dynasty leagues (18/23 kept) - see available here https://fantasysportscoalition.wordpress.com/ and 1 contract dynasty ( players earn salaries on contracts ranging from 1-4 years) https://fantasysportscoalition.wordp...ague-waitlist/
