I don't see Draisaitl moving to 2nd line C hurting his value, in fact it should, in this set up, increase it. FOW - having him take regular # of draws, should be seen as a bonus to his current value.

Moving McAvoy with Mack really depends on where you see drais ceiling & mack's ceiling. If you're convinced Mack can break out and become a 75pt+ player -then it's likely not worth the deal unless you think Drais is going to become a 85+ pt player. There were only a handful this year.

I'm not convinced Mack is an annual 70+pt player, whereas Daisaitl already is and could hit another level. Even with all signs pointing to McAvoy becoming a stud Dman, there is by no means a guarantee he becomes a 50+pt one, or that he puts up Werenski type numbers next season. He's unproven. His 3 SC playoff games are a really small sample.

The best player in the deal is Draisaitl and with McD and Edm. Mack still plays on Col.
