    Default Zachary Aston-Reese?

Can someone give me an outlook or some insight on this guy?

Putting up good numbers since the Pens signed him and he's been in the AHL.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, he's my first round pick that I'm targeting in my minor league draft if I can't land Tolvanen with the 13th overall.

I like his drive and skillset. Sheary and Guentzel had similar paths although Guentzel was drafted in the 3rd round. Still, 3 solid players that had great success in their college years and that got passed on for the most part in their respective draft years.

I'm not saying he will have an immediate impact like Sheary and Guentzel did, but if his early AHL numbers are any form of indication to his future output, the future seems bright for this 22 year old!

High risk (turns 23 this summer so limited time to develop) but high reward because of the stars on the roster. I don't think he'll make the opening-night roster but could be up after a couple months.

Penguins think he is a Hornqvist type player. That is all the insight I have.

Exactly! When you a paired up with a star (Crosby, Malkin, Kessel and even Hornqvist if he doesn't play with Sid) on 1 of the 3 first lines, you are likely to get some points here and there (maybe half of what the star gets). Add skill to to that like Sheary and Guentzel have and you can most likely keep up with the given star's production.

If this is true, and I believe it is, then don't reach on the cost of acquisition. I don't think he will be all that coveted if the spots in the PIT top 6 are full and he isn't expected to make the team at the outset.

At some point you have to believe Sprong will get back on track after his injury, a la Anthony Mantha, though perhaps to a lesser degree?
