Regarding the Pirates closer situation. Will it be Felipe Rivero or Juan Nicasio getting first crack at pitching in the 9th? I've read similar reports for both saying each will be next in line.
Not sure who I should be adding.

Side note: need to drop 2 out of these players (have someone coming off DL and want to pick up one of the above pitching options):
    -Carpenter
    -Belt
    -Peraza
    -Cesar Hernandez
who would be your 2 drops?
    12 Team H2H Keep 6
    Scoring Cats - Players: G, A, P, +/-, PPG, SHG, GWG
    Goalies: W, GAA, SV%, SHO
    Start 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1G (locked in for the week)

    C: Malkin, Kuznetsov, Larkin, Couture
    LW: Hall, DeBrincat, Fiala
    RW: Kucherov, J.T. Miller
    D: Theodore, Gustafsson, Pulock
    G: Hellebuyck, Shesterkin

To add to what OG said above, I like Nicasio as well. Something about him not having bonuses in his contract for Saves like Rivero does? It was announced today that Watson is out and the role will be "split". Ugh hate that.

As for your other one...I'd create a separate thread so you get full attention...would want to know league setup and rest of lineup. Likely Belt and Peraza though

    Rodney since I got him, 12IP, 1W, 15Ks, 0ER, 0.50WHIP, 9saves.

But I have Smoak for 2 games and he goes 0/7 then breaks out after I drop him.

Ya Rodney has been a stud lately holy crap. I guess I was wrong there.

Bedrosian gets a save chance last night and blows it. Jussssssssssst great.

Oh was left in the BP and Rosenthal was brought in for a close yesterday. and Oh was available (warmed up even). But then Rosenthal uncorks 2 wild pitches and 2 walks or hits (can't remember what those were). But ends with 0ER and a save for the day.

Getting the top closers can be great (Kimbrel, Jensen, Wade Davis). But can they ever be bad (Melancon, Oh, Herrera), or hurt and lose all value (Britton, Chapman). So fickle.

Do you guys think that Bud Norris and Koda Glover get the reins back after their respective DL stints? I personally think that Norris should steer the ship since he has proved to be their best option and has relatively good numbers. Glover on the other hand is in a messy situation with alot of (bad) options in Washington. I think they will land a closer via trade soon but I'm hopeful (as an owner) that Glover can at least regain his role until then if it were to happen.

    What do you guys think?
Keeper league 14 teams (H2H, 20 active players keep 16 NHLers, 16 minors)
    Scoring Cats: G-A-PTS-PPG-PPA-(+/-)-HITS-BLK-SHP-SOG-FOW-GWG / W-L-SVS-SV%-GAA-SO

C- Crosby, Barzal, Bennett, Schmaltz, Novak
W- Forsberg, Batherson, Nichuskin, Tuch, Konecny, Maccelli, Sharangovich, Bertuzzi, Kaliyev, Neighbours, Reichel
    D- Carlson, Rielly, Klingberg
    G- Hellebuyck, Demko, Merzlikins, Vejmelka

    Minors:
F: Fantilli, Cooley, Bourgault, Perreault, Cowan, Ohgren, N. Foote, Goyette, Iskhakov, Denisenko, Tracey
    D: Simashev, Willander, Lambos
G: Schmidt, Rodrigue, DiPietro, Gaudreau, McKay

Norris, yes I do. Although who frigging knows with Scioscia. It helps Norris that Bedrosian blew his first chance last night.....although he was supposedly a strike away from getting the Save.

Glover....I am done trying to pick up their next closer. I've owned them all this year. They are definitely going to make a trade but in the meantime....if Glover can come back and get a couple Saves early...he'll have the role until that trade is made.

I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that NOrris is the closer when he steps back.

Screw Glover. He screwed me over enough this yr,.

I'd still look at Melancon if I were the Nats. They know him from last yr. But that's dependent on if he's healthy when he's back and if they want his contract.

Herrera is my rental if that's the route the Nats want to go.

After giving up Rivero last year (who is now killing it as the Pirates closer), I can't figure out if they're going to go big and send a bunch of prospects somewhere.

    Will be fun to see.

I'm still holding onto him too, but my patience is running thin. I don't think I'll be owning him much longer.

A good replacement is Swarzak who should be closing for the white sox with Robertson getting traded to the yanks

I just think his league looks kinda shallow so there should be a solid replacement available. But I also read that Clippard could actually take over for CWS.
