    Default Help with prospects

Please help me rank these prospects. I have to drop several in order to clear space for this years upcoming draft picks. I am leaning Motte/Reway at the moment, plus maybe one or two more. Advice/Opinions/Rankings appreciated.

    Skater stats are: G/A/PPP/SHP/FOW/HAT/SOG/HIT/BLK
    Goalie stats are: W/GA/SV/SO

    Kyle Connor, Wpg LW
    Kevin Labanc, SJ RW, LW
    Vladislav Kamenev, Nsh LW
    Nikita Gusev LW TBL
    Jake Walman, StL D
    Brandon Montour, Ana D
    Victor Mete MON D
    Maxim Shalunov CHI LW, RW
    Jordan Greenway LW MIN
    Ryan Graves NYR D
    Martin Reway, Mtl LW
Tyler Motte, Chi C, LW, RW
    Gustav Forsling, Chi D
    Ilya Sorokin, NYI G
    Anthony Stolarz, Phi G

Here is my (quick and separated) Rankings

    F:
    Connor
    Gusev
    ---------
    Labanc
    Kamenev
    Greenway
    Motte
    Shalunov (not familiar with him)
    Reway

    D:
    Montour
    ---------
    Walman
Graves (i'm a Ranger fan, so little bit biased with him)
Mete (for a small D like him hard to crack NHL rosters)
    Forsling

    G:
    Sorokin
    Stolarz

I would drop Reway definitely. If i'm not mistaken, he is battling some kind of illness all year. Motte and Shalunov another candidates for a drop for me, after that the last four D would be in line for a cut.

How many do you need to cut?

I have a lot of draft picks in upcoming draft. Depends on a lot of factors, like if i trade any players or picks away. I am thinking i will need to drop around 3 of them if i do not make any trades. If it makes any difference, my goalies are Holtby/Price/Neuvirth. It is one goalie start per day/unlimited per week. So, i am sort of on the fence with Stolarz.

Just because you don't need a goalie doesn't mean you should drop him. You have lots of skater prospects who have less value, so keep Stolarz. He could play in the NHL next season, perhaps even paired with Neuvirth who you also own. If that happens, you could probably trade him or both of them and get a better skater prospect in return. Shalunov, Mete, Graves and Reway are very easily drop-worthy ahead of Stolarz.

Shalunov's story may become more clear in a month or so whether he is coming over or not.

    From Puck Daddy: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/blackha...5533--nhl.html

Right winger Maxim Shalunov, drafted 109th overall in 2011 by the Chicago Blackhawks, and undrafted left winger Anton Burdasov have both decided to remain in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for at least one more season for a chance to represent their country at the Pyeongchang Games next year, their agent Shumi Babayev told AFP.

"They were in talks with the NHL clubs about contracts for next season but the NHL decision (on Olympic participation) forced them both to stay in Russia," Babayev said.
