It's a nice read... good stuff all around, and I suppose I'm not surprised to see some insane prospect-focused keeps given that this is coming from Dobberprospects!

I'd be floored if Vegas took many UFAs and tried to convince them to sign. I mean, I guess it's like trading for pending UFAs in the days before July 1 but I'd suspect they'll use their expansion draft picks to leverage other GMs for valuable assets.

They can negotiate with UFAs before the expansion draft, so they'll probably only select UFAs who they've signed already by then.

Right, but Radulov has stated time and again that he came back to the NHL because he wanted to win a championship in the best league in the world, not for the money. Signing in Vegas would floor me.

I didn't read the article because of that virus alert I received, so if the article had them taking Radulov, then I didn't know that. I was just talking in general.

Yeah, there is something up with that link for me. I don't understand how or why it works for some and not others. It doesn't even result in a 404 error. It begins to load, then re-directs to a scam site.

Interesting article. There's a lot of it that I disagree with but that's going to happen when there are still so many changes that are going to happen before the protected lists are due. Here are a few things that I disagree with.

1) Chris Tanev not being on Vancouver's protected list tells me that this article was put together by fantasy hockey writers
2) Brandon Tanev of the Winnipeg Jets is a winger and not a dman
3) Luongo being protected over Reimer by Florida would shock me

That was one of two things that I thought strange. The other was that the Knights would take Columbus goalie Anton Forsberg over Joonas Korpisalo. Just my two cents though
