Almost not considered a prospect anymore, but this kid should be returning to the big D next fall. He had some decent underlying numbers in his rookie year, but with missing this entire season, where will he catch up next year in the rattled Stars team?

I like him as a sleeper for next year. Dallas has a bunch of aging, top 6 forwards. Spezza, Hudler and Sharp. There will be a spot for him in the top 6, next season, if he grabs it. And like you said he had some great underlying numbers last season. If he can click on the line with either Seguin or Benn, you could have a breakout year. But I wouldn't expect more than 55 points

He's been out all season with a pretty serious knee condition which was considered career-threatening. He is skating now but the extent to which his injury has healed is still an unknown.

It's never good to miss a whole year but in one sense he got lucky. The Stars didn't have a good year so they'll be making changes. Guys like Janmark will get more of an opportunity than they would if Dallas had a great year with players established in their roles.

At best, Jere Lethinen 2.0.. at worst, well, an oft-injured guy who doesn't contribute.
