Default Should I even bother with Lehner tonight?

Looking for anyone to plug into the roster as it is down to the wire and I am in a dogfight for first.

Debating putting in Lehner tonight but is there any hope they can possibly win against a red-hot MTL who is not resting anyone?

    Thanks!

If the options are only Lehner and not Lehner I'm going to take the start every time.

With a win being worth 3.5 and a loss -1 a goalie only needs to win 1/4.5 = 22% of the time to break even, no starter in the NHL has a win rate below that so roll the dice and hope he can come up with something.

Ya this was my thinking as well (minus the statistical analysis - thank you!!). In the end losing one point won't sting too much but gaining 3.5 and possibly 7 with a SO makes it worth rolling the dice. Likely a slaughter, but it is BUF last home game and fan appreciation night, so maybe the bring it tonight.

Robin, go have yourself a game

I'm with Lawman on this. Make the start unless you have an excellent reason not to.
