Hedman for me. He made a great jump this year and is coming into his prime. I think ~60 is attainable for him going forward.

I suspect alot will choose Letang here as he can be replaced when he goes down and is so productive when he's active. Personally I'd go mad owning Letang.

As a Hedman owner I wouldn't trade him for Letang just due to the headaches he brings but I can also believe the Letang owner wouldn't make that same trade which indicates to me that personal preference plays a big part

I'm one of the ones who doesn't mind managing around Letang, so he's my pick, but there is a very good case to be made for Hedman too. No clear right choice here.

If you get 65 games from Letang, you get the same production. it's a pool format consideration too. If you have peripheral stats - you want the 60+ Letang games and the fillers. Points pool, you can flip a coin.

The homerun choice is Letang. Safe pick is Hedman

This is a good assessment. I'll just add that with Hedman, there's also the concern that he'll see his PP scoring diminish once Stamkos is back in the fold. Remember that part of the reason they featured Stralman on the PP as much as they did in the past few seasons was to tryand set things up for Stamkos's one timer.

For us Hedman owners, hopefully the emergence of the Kucherov one timer is enough reason to keep Hedman on PP1 when Stamkos is back next year.

I'd risk it with Letang in a lot of cases but not vs Hedman. He's a beast.

Glad to see all these posts. I traded Letang and a 3rd for Hedman last year in our keeper and got laughed at. My reasons were getting a D Man 3 years younger with limited injury risk. I was able to recoup that 3rd back in another trade but thats beside the point. The season ending surgery just validates that move. Thanks all

I traded away my Hedman AND Okposo in my 1-year vs Letang when he was first injured earlier this season... I think I got 15 games out of him MAX and as soon as I moved Hedman, he exploded!!

Ironically, I faced that same manager in the finals and wopped his A with Letang on my bench

To answer the OP in light of my story, I would risk acquiring Letang one last time over Hedman

I have both in my main league and I would deal Letang way before Hedman (who is practically untouchable). Letang is always hurt and usually at the worst possible times - same with Malkin.
