Very risky if you're expecting quality numbers. I don't see why Stalock would fare better than Dubs or Kuemp the way this team is playing.
Is he worth an add for tomorrow against Ottawa?

If you have other options, then go with that.
If you need to run him as a last resort, good luck to you.

.... Or from the Wild! Dubnyk hasn't been great but the team in front of him hasn't helped
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Do you have to add one tonight? Only a couple of B2B's tonight, but nothing too enticing. Korpisalo, Halak, and Dell are all possibilities.
This is the time of year where teams give their backups random starts to keep their workhorses fresh without a B2B, though. Keep an eye out for that, too.

Ya I would think there would be better options than Stalock for sure! I was shocked when my opponent picked him up in our tight matchup. I know he was confirmed early but still.
I have Holtby and Grubauer as my goalies and will have 4 games to make up (max games for goalie = 82 games). I have a little wiggle room in GAA, but could use some help in the saves dept.
I will be taking a chance on Stalock. Kuemper's last good game played was back in February 16th. Stalock has the opportunity to wrestle the back-up job from Kuemper. Back-ups for competitive teams are fairly valuable in my league and have more value than a depth C (I dropped John Quennville for him.)
The Wild have been competitive this year and although they have been struggling recently they are not as bad as they have been - if that makes any sense.

another forum poster mentioned that Karlsson might not play so Stalock has a better chance of getting the W now
One problem using Wild goalies is that they don't tend to give up a ton of shots--therefore not as many saves.

If it's worth anything, goalies who are thrown into this situation (with something to prove) either thrive and do well or crash and burn...... if you're desperate and you like to gamble, I would totally go for it. If you wanna play it safe, grab him but don't start him. I doubt they ride Stalock for 4-5 games, this could just be a wakeup call for the team and Dubnyk.
Stalock with the win in a 5-1 game with a .947 save percentage. He was named the 3rd star of the game.
