    Default Keeper Help - Rep

    Hey Guys,

I finished last this year and traded away anything of value.. which wasn't much...

Here are the guys I'm left to choose 4 keepers from - I know it's a motley crew:

    Amari Cooper
    Adrian Peterson
    Eddie Lacy
    Donte Moncrief
    Kenneth Dixon
    TJ Yeldon
    DeVante Parker

    Thanks in advance.

Amari Cooper The best WR option you have
Adrian Peterson - too old, too many others will let him slip in the draft, easy to re-draft.
Eddie Lacy ...In a Seahawks Run first offense
Donte Moncrief - Luck is is QB, hopefully he bounces back!
Kenneth Dixon - Hopefully he becomes the starting RB.
TJ Yeldon - I expec Jax to draft a RB
    DeVante Parker - I don't like Miami

    Cooper for sure.

Lacy and Dixon could be solid contributors if all goes well. Ironically, Lacy has a ''weight clause'' in his contract:

The last player would probably be Peterson if I go for the BPA but considering you are keeping 2 RBs already, I'll go with Moncrief and hope he's OK after missing a good chunk of last season.

Cooper and Moncrief are no doubters for me. After that? It really depends on what happens at the draft.

AP- I don't think he offers very much beyond RB3 #'s this year
Lacy- is NOT on a run first team (ranked bottom 3rd in attempts) and has Rawls and Prosise to contend with. Lacy will get first shot but I will avoid this situation if I can. You should look to trade him to an owner that loves the fit. There's many who do
Dixon-suspended 4 games and the Ravens brought in Woodhead. I believe in his talent long term but this year it's cloudy
Yeldon- Jags could rebound but I think the new brass will be looking to draft their RB
Parker- I like the O and think he can be a WR3 this year

    Right now I'd go:
    Cooper
    Moncrief
    Lacy
    Dixon

Appreciate the input guys - I will likely pick up someone of value before we choose final keepers - lots of potential keepers may be easily had for cheap.

I was going to ask whether this is a ppr league, but given the set of players I do not think it matters. I agree with PenguinHunter's selections. I think you could flip a coin between Moncrief and Parker. I'm not a fan of Miami/Tannehill either, but Moncrief is being a bit overplayed based purely on projected value. Last season he was heavily TD dependent for his fantasy relevance and as we all know TDs from year to year are a very unreliable predictor.

The only other suggestion I would add is, if you are rebuilding (which it seems as though you are), I'd look to flip Lacy to a contender round about week 5 or 6. There's no guarantee he maintains starting reps for the season let alone beyond this season. The future picks will serve you better long term than anything Lacy may provide, especially if it is a PPR league.

To echo the above I'd go with Cooper Moncrieff Dixon. Swing a trade with Lacy and/or Parker to get your 4th keeper and a pick for your rebuild! No way I want any part of AP or Yeldon who has done little in his time. If you could fetch a pick for either you're sitting great
