I'd like to see Barrie get back to 50 point form. And for Seth Jones to have a monster season.

Can we expect a regression in someone like Duncan Keith?
11 team keeper league with salary cap (points only)

    MY TEAM (start 13F, 6D, 1G):
    FWDS: N. Kucherov, S. Stamkos, R. O’Reilly, J. Hughes, W. Karlsson, P. Kessel, B. Point, F. Vatrano, E. Pettersen, R. Rakell, C. Keller, N. Niederreiter, K. Labanc

    DEF: J. Trouba, J. Morrissey, T. Krug, F. Hronek, S. Jones, D. Nurse
    GOALIE: A. Vasilevskiy
    BENCH: V. Mete, S. Niku, R. Andersson, T. Hirose, C. Glass, T. Jurco, C. McElhinney
NOTES: We can only send players down if they get injured, otherwise they pass through waivers and we lose them for nothing + we have to pay half their cap.

I like Skjei and Provorov for next year

Don't see Barrie bouncing back much if he has that kind of offense in front of him

Keith is at an age where regression could happen but right now I don't see anyone on the Hawls organisation that can cannibalise his ice time and when you get rolled out with Kane and Panarin points are a given
Experience is the teacher of all things.

I think Keith's style of play also ages well. He doesn't rely too much on his physical attributes but instead his high hockey IQ is what makes him so great, so he could continue playing at a high level until his contract runs out (until he's 40). Of course his offensive output will regress but maybe it doesn't plummet. Sort of like Lidstrom but of course Keith was never as good as him to begin with.

I think Minnesota is protecting Brodin and exposing Scandella instead. Last summer, it could have gone either way. But Brodin has been pretty good this season, so I think they'll keep him now.

    Than, Dumba in Vegas.

Whoever Minny is exposing (I think it's Brodin/Dumba) they will deal them for a pick and prospect before exposing, I would think.

Currently, Scandella will most definitely be left exposed.

I was actually thinking they'd protect four D-men (leaving Staal, Niederreiter and Zucker exposed) but you could be right, they might protect just three to keep their forwards. If I was Minny GM, I'd protect Spurgeon and Dumba because they're right-handed shots while Suter is a left-handed shot. They would lose Brodin or Scandella (more likely Brodin) in that scenario but they'd still have four good D-men on their roster with 2/2 split between left and right-handed shots.

Lindell and Morrissey are my breakout picks next year, and if not next year than the year after at most.

    Lindell
    - started the year with a minor injury/sickness
    - missed the first couple games
    - started playing average 15 min a game when he got back
    - scratched for a game
    - sent down
    - recalled and has played over 20 minutes for every game except a half dozen or so.
    - has averaged around 23 minutes since Feb 1
    - is a +9 on a terrible Dallas team. Next best defender is Klingberg at +1. Everyone else is a minus.
    - only shooting about 1.2 times a game, that needs to increase to around 2.

    Morrissey
    - made the team off a great training camp and Trouba holdout didn't hurt
    - started off playing 12-17 minutes a night
    - now plays around 21-22 minutes
    - started getting regular PP time last month
    - he is a +8 which is tops for Jets defenders
    - like Lindell only shots 1.2 times a game

Keep in mind both are rookies. Two excellent rookies that have impressed big time without putting up the points. That should likely keep them off the radar for the time being.

Disclaimer. I've owned both for a while. Some potential bias in this post.
