Off Day Players
Hey I'm looking to add some players that play on off days this week (teams like COL, CHI, CGY, STL) and have picked out a few players to potentially add to my team in the signature. I wouldn't need to drop anyone as I have a free roster spot.
I'm looking at Schmaltz, Hartman, Heyden and Berglund. Position doesn't really matter as I'm pretty much wide open on off days and they would be able to slot in. Which of these players should I add? I don't follow either of Chicago or St. Louis too closely so I don't know much about these players. Any tips or suggestions on other players to take a look at?

I had one league where I had these choices and went Hayden due to the peripherals he has been bringing.

I think you have to find the sweet spot between off days and total games played. I haven't done it for this week but I know that Nashville and Carolina play 5 games this week so any worthwhile name that's available and that would fit into your roster on most nights without having to bench a player would be my first suggestion.
Afterwards, I would look for players that play a decent amount of games but that play on a team that NEEDS to win (Flyers, Islanders, Blues, Nashville, ...)

It's a great idea, but honestly I wouldn't drop any of your current players for anyone you listed there.

Ive found it really helpful to check out my weekly lineup and see who I would be benching on the busy days like Tues/Thurs/Sat....and then dropping them for someone who plays Mon/Wed/Fri.

Am I crazy to think about dropping pacioretty for an off day player? With my schedule I'd always be benching either perrault or patches, and with the way they both have been playing it's patches on the bench.

How much time is left in your season? If this is the finals, then I'd consider anyone droppable. Still not sure I like any of those options you listed better, though. Maybe Schmaltz, but he barely moves the meter for me.
Any other CGY, ARI, or STL players available? Have to be some good options in a 10-team league, right?
