I'd choose Talbot and Reimer.
I don't often ask about which goalie to start because it's such a crapshoot anyways, but I figured it couldn't hurt to see what others are thinking when I have 4 options and can only start 2.
I have going tonight:
Rinne vs. Cal (not yet confirmed but should go)
Talbot @ Col
Reimer vs. Arz
Smith @ Fla
Currently stats are:
Games Started Wins GAA Sv%
Me: 3 2 1.98 .937
Him: 2 0 2.93 .895
His goalies are Raanta and Bob.
So I have a total 7-5 lead in the matchup, and will likely need to keep a minimum of 3 categories to advance. GS and Ws seem safe enough, but you can never be too sure. Basically I'm trying to just not blow up the averages.
On one hand, I could play it safe, go with the guaranteed win in Smith/Reimer (leaning towards this option). On the other, I could go with the easier matchups by playing Talbot and one of the rest.
Just looking to get a few thoughts bouncing, so have at it.

I'd choose Talbot and Reimer.

Talbot and Rinne for me if he's confirmed.
If Rinne doesn't get it, I'd go with Reimer nut Arizona is always a scary matchup. You think it's gonna be easy and then BAM, 4-5 goals against! I understand Calgary is HOT but Rinne and the Preds need this win at home. No way they come out short unless it's a really close low-scoring game.

I'm gonna take the matchups and say Talbot and Reimer.
Rinne vs. Cal (not yet confirmed but should go)
Talbot @ Col
Reimer vs. Arz
Smith @ Fla
Talbot is the easy choice for me.
The next option is between Reimer and Rinne.
I read somewhere that the top guys for Nashville play way better at home... so hopefully this includes Rinne. But as a Nashville fan, you should know best on this!
If you sit your Rinne and he has a great game can you live with that? haha
Haha, I can live with it.
I still can't shake this desire to go with the guaranteed win in Florida though even with the consensus being for Talbot.

Ya but you know right away that you can't get 2 Wins if you do that. Since you know you are pretty much guaranteed a loss here, you are also running the risk that the losing team gets beat bad. Of course the latter can happen in any of the 4 scenarios (it could also not happen if they keep it close and lose by 1) but unless you really need the W, I would go with the 2 best goalies regardless of their matchups.

With being up 2-0 in wins, I'm thinking I would rather for sure be up 3-0 (or 3-1) than possibly be stuck at 2-1.

Reimer & Talbot give you the best chances IMO.
Eskimo, I won't believe my eyes if you, a Predators fan
don't play Rinne tonight
... but with all my seriousness I would make my decision in the last second. It's really hard decision.
What if you go with the guaranteed win and the game is like 4-3 for Florida?
I believe that Nashville will win the game but the risk is there against a team like Calgary.
I have that weird feeling about Edmonton-Colorado game... a lot of goals in both nets ....
I made it even harder to decide? sorry for that ..

I may be a Predators fan but I do also like to win my fantasy leagues
There's reasons for and against every goalie tonight, only way to find out is to watch the games.

Fair enough If I'm you, my decision would be between Rinne and Talbot or Rinne and Reimer. GL!

I usually don't like starting goalies who's team is playing the 2nd game of a back-to-back on the road (Talbot), even if it's against the Avs. My picks are Reimer and Rinne.
