That's partially what I am thinking as well, sent him a few offers that include a decent D (i.e. Carlo and Myers) plus a pick so we shall see what he says. Left Vatrano out of the deal, more interest in Arvidsson anyways and I can maybe figure out a different deal down the line to get him

Sometimes it's definitely better to simplify deals. Managers like this can't properly evaluate the deal so they reject out of simplicity.

Yeah it's possible that I was overcomplicating the deal by initially asking about Arvidsson and then throwing Vatrano into the mix. Hopefully now that I have just truncated it down to just Arvidsson it'll make things easier on him.
