fantastic...he gets suspended it is crap he was simply reading the play and it deflected but he was already committed not his fault Guentzel committed sin and stared at the puck without being aware of surroundings.

You should read the other thread on the hit... I think you're in the minority. Perhaps your need for Risto in your matchup is clouding your opinion. Buffalo only has one more game this week anyway. I'm not sure how much impact he will have on your matchup regardless of suspension

I am certainly not pleased with the timing but he is not pulling a Matt Cooke either on this play. He is simply anticipating what is clearly an outlet pass from Crosby to Guentzel and it unfortunately gets deflected. While I feel bad for Guentzel because he got absolutely wrecked he dug his own grave by looking back and not forward at what's coming and Crosby set him up for failure with that pass. Everyone will say headhunting but Rasmus is f*cking huge, Guentzel could give him a BJ standing straight up! I've already planned for his ineligibility but I do not have any other defenders that can routinely play a half hour.

I was just going to start a thread on this... I'm thinking about dropping him actually... with only 1 game left this week, I think I have to go for one of the various options that play 3 games... its do or die playoff time...

nah if it is a keeper you have to bite bullet and roster him he is too valuable in keeper for next decade plus; I dumped Carlson for David Savard and Dell for Kris Russell as I need blocks.

it sucks but no way you are parting ways with 22 year old stud; dump Vatanen for someone it's 10 team so there has to be solid options out there.
