Kessel for Kuznetsov?
Looking to acquire Kuznetsov from this manager in our league. He's first in our conference and 2nd in the league so he's pushing for a championship for sure, so I told him that I would be willing to move Kessel if I were to at least be getting Kuznetsov in return.
Currently Kessel is producing 30fppg and Kuz has 25fppg, so he would be getting a bit of a boost in the that area, the only issue is that Kessel has an $8M salary cap hit and Kuz has only a $3M cap hit and the manager who has Kuz only has $400K left in cap space so he can't really take on that extra cap space which means that I'd have to ask for a bit more pieces.

I like the move for you, I would also caution you that Kuz is going to be getting a big contract next, so watch out.
Klefbom is actually the bigger piece that I would want and would be focusing on trying to get him.
In terms of a return, not sure exactly what to propose, but see what the other GM says you would need to add to it to make it work.

If the 2 main pieces are Kessel for Kuz, I would do this no problem and just figure out who to ship back for cap. Its tough to say with who considering we dont know the other salaries

That seems reasonable to me as well. I would go with that offer and take it from there. State that Kessel is in the better situation (PP1) and has the better proven record. Your the one taking on the risk with Kuz having such a down year.
