Start Malkin this week?
My fault - I should have known Malkin's playoff injury was coming. I already missed two games last week from him. With four Pit games this week, the first one tomorrow, is it worth starting him? I'm leaning yes as I think I'd rather have 2-3 games from Malkin than 3 from Turris or Backlund.

I'd start Malkin. He practiced in a regular jersey so he's close to returning. I think he misses one game at most.

Well, it's not so bad in roto leagues, especially when you have 1st place already cinched. That's why I don't like H2H leagues - too much luck factor in playoffs weeks. But I digress. Given this new info, I'm myself considering starting Lehkonen instead of Malkin this week, although it won't make a difference either way.

I am skeptical of Malkin playing in the next game too which is on the road. He is rehabbing in Pittsburgh. I think he could be back Friday or Sunday when the Pens are at home.

Well, you were all right that he wasn't a smart start two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the question has reared its ugly head again. Any chance Geno is back this week? First game is tomorrow, but I'd be heppy with Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday's games.
