Sitting tonight vs NJ. Upper body issue that's been "lingering". We'll know more in 24 hours. Sounds like the standard sketchy bad Malkin news. Probably more than 1 game.
I swear, every year this guy ruins my season by getting hurt for fantasy playoffs. What a disaster.

Is this the 3rd or 4th year in a row he is missing time over the playoffs? I seriously thought this was finally the year. Apparently he is suffering from the most serious bruise in the history of mankind. So frustrating.

I've given up on the idea of him playing a full season. His body always seems to wear down near the end of the season....EVERYtime. At least this year I didn't pick him

I agree, a slapshot to the shoulder is just the latest evidence that his body can't hold up to the wear of repeated slapshots to the shoulder.

Malkin said he's very close to returning to the @penguins lineup. Hopes to play in 1 of final 2 games. Not end of the world if he doesn't.

I believe it is the 5th year out of the last 6 that he has missed all or most of the fantasy playoffs. Anyone who owns him at this point only has themselves to blame.

It helped me lose one finals, but I also wouldn't have gotten there without him to start so I am not that mad.
