Any updates on him? Is he done for the season? I'm tired of waiting for him to go on IR.

I think he's likely droppable at this point in one year leagues.

He was really turning it on prior to his injury. He had 24 shots over 3 games and scored 2 goals. Everything I saw said they figure he would only miss 7-10 days. If he's back next week, Florida has a few games over the next couple of weeks against weak defensive teams. But the concussion factor could damper his production.

You may be right, I don't want to hang on longer than I should, but that's why I was hoping someone might have an update.

Next to no updates with concussions.
Especially at the end of the season though I want 3 weeks of replacement over 1-2 weeks (possibly 0) of Ekblad.

It's a roto league and I'm slightly over on D games played pace. There's no great offensive D options available so a couple of big games from Ekblad could do me much better than some random plug. If it was H2H and he was taking up a roster spot, he'd have been dropped already.

Completely fair. In that case probably makes sense to hold him until there's an update.

The Hockey News had this to say about young Mr. Ekblad. While I would like for him to come back, their argument to keep him out for the regular season is compelling.

Anyone think he's worth an immediate add, or take a wait-and-see approach after a game or two back?

Only two games left this week (after tonight), and 3 out of his 4 games next week are vs tough opponents on the road (@Tor, @Mon, @Bos).

He's out again with a stiff neck that they say isn't concussion related.

Just like Crosby's stiff neck wasn't related to his concussion I suppose.
