    Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
Hearing ARIZ & Clayton Keller closing in on a contract. At 18, Keller cannot "burn" first year of ELC as there are fewer than 10 games left.
Q: @friedgehnic Why would White and Boeser have to burn but Keller not have to burn years on ELC? Draft Year?
A: Age at signing. 19 and under need 10 games. 20 and over don't.

Chuck Fletcher/Jordan Greenway's advisor to speak today. #mnwild would love to sign JG to deal starting 17-18 if he wants to leave BU
BUT, Greenway could wait to sign. For an ATO to play few wks in Iowa, he'll need to decide if it's worth ending semester early #mnwild

Get ready for this one soon too. Charlie McAvoy is just around the corner.

    http://boston.cbslocal.com/2017/03/2...u-final-exams/

BOSTON (CBS) — It won’t be much longer until the Bruins get Charlie McAvoy into the lineup, but they just got a quick reminder that the prized prospect still just a college kid.

McAvoy is expected to sign his entry-level deal with the Bruins in the coming days and potentially boost their defensive depth chart down the stretch. But TSN’s Bob McKenzie tweeted on Sunday that McAvoy, currently a freshman at Boston University, is being held up by final exams.

McKenzie added that McAvoy’s exam schedule could affect the “timing” of his eventual signing with the Bruins, but it’s not expected to be a major issue.

This doesn't sound good to me, regarding Poolman and the Jets. He's not signing yet because he's dealing with an injury? Sounds odd, unless it pertains to whether he'd try to get into a game or two this season or something. Maybe there's something I'm missing, but this is making me doubt his future with the team. They could certainly use him to shore up their bottom pairing.
