Im bored today and looking to kill time. I thought I might throw this out there:

I just went through my draft and all my trades to do a year end review (my season endedwith the trade deadline- lol!)- and it was pretty good fun. Id need your league summary, format and hopefully include your keepers at the start of the year and the draft choices, trades, key add drops throughout. Then Id write an article style breakdown. Highlight key moves- successes AND missteps. Give some advice going forward and grade your season A+ to F-. Nothing serious just for kicks.

If youre interested post on here or private message me. Ill let you know the approximate grade Id give you before I start writing- and as long as I got the greenlight id start writing. I promise to be fair and unbiased - but I do intend to be critical in key acquisitions- and will hopefully be injecting some humor into it- so once the article gets the greenlight everything on your roster is fair game- lol!

If you read mine it was waaaaaaay too long. If I take on a project or two here it would be a lot more streamlined, concise and to the point (hopefully :P ).

This reminds me of a series that used to be featured on Dobber.... oh shit what was it called... An Expert's Opinion or something like that?

Essentially one of the writers would pair up with a volunteer and he'd go through their team, the FA list, even the other teams and try to help you out for the month.

Would be a cool feature to see resuscitated!

Great idea....... not in a re-build, but the opposite really. Team and league in sig. Last years reg season champ, playoff champ. This years reg season champ and currently in the second round. I've won 4 of the last 5 reg seasons. 3 playoffs finals appearances. 2 titles. But I am also built for the future as well so I'll post here. I'll attach a screen shot of my trades this year. 2 months into the season I dropped Colin Miller to add Brandon Montour. Then right before Xmas I dropped Riley TUFTE for KAPRIZOV. The trades I made back in September were salary dump deals. Weber and Kopitar I was extremelyIMG_0386.PNG happy I got a pick at all for them. I had 5 picks in the draft. CHYCHRYN, RUBSTOV, m jones, TUFTE and asplund in that order. I believe the picks were 19, 20,21,33 and 49. I added johns as a waiver draft free agent 20th overall. When I added the pic it didn't go as planned so hope it's ok........thanks. Really appreciate any feedback. Should also mention that trading in this league is very difficult, especially when your 1st overall(no one wants to help you thanks again.just noticed no dates can be seen, crap. Ok so luongo, Kopitar, weber, Martinez, Deangelo and backes deals were in September before our draft.

This is my year, I planned a re-build window of blowing up my team and collecting draft picks and young high end potential.
I moved out guys like Toews, Kessel, Price, Wheeler for draft picks and high end prospects.

One huge gameble trade I made was 4 1st round draft picks for Gaudreau, Kuznetsov, Forsberg and Galiev.
This was the McDavid draft.
The picks turned into Eichel, Zacha, Meir and Rantannen

Made another huge pre-season trade that ended up being Grioux for Couture, Marner and the pick that turned into Matthews.....(this one hurts a little)

I had a nice base of players to call up from my farm team which gave me a head start on FA draft day.
I've been wheeling and dealing all year to round out my roster.

Finished 1sr overall, currently in the Semi-Final matchup VS 5th overall.
