See...I did this in another league. And I was very happy about it early on. Schwarber, Correa, Springer, Arenado, Pollock, Hamilton, Polanco. Then ended up with Martinez, Duffy, McCullers, Paxton, Roark to name a few.

    Then player injuries hit lol

The only thing is....What's to say you didn't take Verlander and Lester. Or Noah and Madison with your 1st two.

All in all...it;s a crap shoot

Just wish i hadve been more involved this season. I mean i set my lineups and picked up FAs but my tradimg was off. My hitting was so inconsistent.
Hope to be stronger next year. If u will have me again.

If we can pull off 10 teams again next year I'll be happy haha.

I've said this before, but if it helps us get to 10 teams....I'd be fine with doing weekly lineups. It is definitely a different strategy but still takes knowledge and skill.

    Yeah, weekly could work.

Also it seems like neither Kofax or I really want that last playoff spot.

I know ...this is a tough time. NFL leagues are drafting....my hockey leagues are all messaging me to get things going....all while trying to keep my MLB teams afloat

It's been fun, but I'll withdraw on this for next year. Just too much work to keep up with a baseball league during an already busy summer.

I somehow managed to finish the regular season in first place in both of my baseball leagues. But I'm in the same boat as a few of you, I just didn't upkeep and maintain my teams as much as I usually do this year. Just never really got into baseball this season, I was stuck in hockey mode all summer. As far as returning next season, it's too early to tell but I'd say more than likely. To be honest, I've been thinking of bailing on my keeper league and just sticking to this league next season, but we'll see. Good luck in the playoffs.

Lucky by me being away and still hanging on!
Hopefully I can at least keep it competitive this week, but my pitchers seem to have other ideas.
