    Default Hutton?

Anyone see him getting starts in St Louis? I am surprised he hasn't started a game in a while after posting two shutouts in a row in games he started. How many games do you guys think he will get the rest of the season?

Maybe back to backs, but nothing more than that. Allen is playing well now, and he's their man; not Hutton.

Agree with Tobias - the reason Elliott was moved was to take the pressure of Allen and let him play. Hutton played because Allen stumbled so unless Allen stumbles again then the Blues will continue to ride him

Since the coaching change, Marty Brodeur is now overseeing the goalies and making the decision who starts and who sits. Obviously, since the changes, Allen has played better and a lot of that could be due to some confidence that was given to him. Allen was the clear starter coming into the season and no doubt Brodeur wanted to bring that train of thought back.

Hutton will still get the odd start here and there (as mentioned, most likely in B2B) but Allen is right where he should be; starting the majority of the games for the Blues.
