Hi everyone,
who do you prefer, Kane or Tavares?
It's a keeper league with no position.
Kane have put better number the last two seasons, but he is a little bit older (28 vs 26) and he is more injury prone.
Who's going to be the better player for the next three saisons.
So what do you say?
Thanks

There is no position in my keeper, so RW or C doesn't matter.
Anyone else?

I'd go Kane too.

I agree with everybody else.... These are both great players but it's gotta be Kane. He is one year removed from a 106 pt season. Best Tavares has done so far is 86. Kane's 2nd best season of 88 also beats that. Not a big enough difference in age to make the difference.
Points only Kane
MultiCat Tavares

Kane by a mile. Much more skill and a better supporting cast
Yup, Kane is the guy here.

Really depends on league settings. In my league Kane squeaked past Tavares last season, but this season Tavares has more fantasy points (we count face off wins, hits, blocks, shots).

I think it's close depending on categories of need? Positionally there is no needs but if you jeeded face offs then...
Experience is the teacher of all things.
The only way this is true is if FOW is counted. Tavares does not hold any significant advantage in any other category. They both barely hit or block and don't compile many PIM. Kane in any league that doesn't count FOW, regardless of the other categories. Somehow I doubt FOW are counted in OP's league if they don't make positional distinctions, but I could be wrong.
