He has to clear waivers first. I wonder if someone claims him.

Paperwork still being done but DiDomenico is expected to sign a two-way deal worth around $575,000 this season. #Sens

Played for Boucher with Hoffman back in Drummondville.
Crawford got to see him a lot in the Swiss league last year.
Worth a flier in deep leagues.
Scouting reports read him as a flashy undersized winger.

72 points in 92 games in the NLA these past two seasons, that's not great. 28 points over 82 games using NHLe.
Mark Acrobello has 53 points in 48 games. Roman Cervenka has 50 points in 42 games. Drew Shore has 46 points in 48 games. Dustin Jeffrey has 45 points in 48 games. These guys were AHL/NHL tweeners and this guy is doing worse than them. He didn't crack the top level in Switzerland until he was 26. Denis Malgin played at that level when he was 17.
The most shocking thing I noticed from his EliteProspects page; he's a WJC Gold Medal winner. How the hell this guy cracked Canada's team in 2008?
That's actually pretty good for what they would want, if he was to actually play in the NHL. Solid bottom line option. It seems he has an edge and intensity for the game and his team was just recently promoted so they aren't a good team with lots of players to pad his stats.
The thing with Boucher and his system is he wants players who will be a good fit in it (such as why Mika was traded). They must see something here that indicates he would fit their system well. Boucher has followed him for years now.
I'm very intrigued by this signing just like Tom Pyatt signing from the summer, who has been excellent.
Depth move, nothing that makes a difference to anything else... moving along.
