who is Darnell Nurse

Hi Experts,

being in a pts only keeper league, i only tend to value D who get significant PP time. Being on the east coast i don't get much Oiler coverage and i don't know what the team has in store for him. will he be a two-way dman obly or does he have the skill to become PP QB? upside?

Personally, if you only tend to value D who get significant PP time, then I don't think that he'll be right for you. If he develops as he was touted to, I see him as a #3-4 D, PP2, PK1 kind of guy. Not a lot of value in a points only league for me.

I expect him to be a horse for the Oilers for years and an excellent real-life Dman. I am not sure if that translates well to fantasy, especially in points only formats. As I said in a previous thread a few months ago (I am sure if you do a search for Nurse you will find plenty of threads asking a similar question that you are posing) I would sell him in points only formats and hope people buy him on the youth factor. I dont expect much from him for offense, short or long term.
