    Default Quick vs Bishop

With Quick back I think I need to replace Budaj. He's been a rock for me, but needs must.

Quick and Bishop were both dropped by impatient (and casual) owners earlier in the season. Who do I get?

Why do you like quick over bish? Bish has consistently posted better numbers over the past few years.

... Has been poor? I accept he might eat into Bishops starts, but the bolts will struggle to make the playoffs unless bishop gets the majority of starts. This only affects wins, not gaa or sv%.

Do you see the number of starts being that much in favour of quick, given the length of quicks layoff and how good budaj has been?

Apparently the Kings are looking for a more proven backup like Miller or Bishop, so it looks like they don't have too much faith in Budaj now that Quick is back.

Bishop is likely traded before the deadline and he could end up anywhere (like backing up Quick which has been rumored), so I would take Quick for sure.

Fair points both. The trade rumours are my biggest concern. In a vacuum I like bishop better, but his future seems so uncertain at this point.

Doesn't bishop have a no trade clause? Would he take a job as quicks backup? He's better than that.

I feel sorry for Budaj. He's been immense and within a week he goes from first choice to backup to (maybe) ahl!

Looks like Bishop has a modified no trade clause: "Player submits an 8 team no trade list"
