Easy yes from me.
Currently in 1st, head to head 12 team league
Can only keep 2 next year, i am leaning Holtby and Burns which leaves Laine out there.
Got an offer of Perry, Suter, Grandlund, 2nd and 5th rounders for my Laine, 8th and 10th round picks. A high second round pick could be pretty good next year with keeping only 2 and Granlund is keeping up with Laine for the most part this year. I would likely drop Mike Green and Schwartz or H Sedin to make this move.
Thoughts?

His team sucks outside of Matthews who he won't move. Rest: Reinhart, Aho, Zucker, Shaw, Granlund, Perry, Little, Frolik, Sheary, Suter, Klefbom, Brodie, Markstrom, Reiner, C Johnson, Saros
I would want a first coming back then likely. But the deal in front of you isn't terrible, I just think it should be a little sweeter

His keepers will obviously be Matthews & Laine moving forward, make him pay a steeper price for a player he will get to keep. That's if you are really set on keeping Holtby. Goalies are inconsistent, even the best ones and we have seen it this year with Carey Price. I would consider keeping Laine over Holtby to be honest.

Tired to get a little more, his counter is the same players but he would give me a 2nd and 3rd pick instead of 2nd and 5th
That's a pretty good deal, 2nd and 3rd round picks in such a shallow keeper league are quite valuable. Can set you up very nicely next season for a strong push.
But.... I'd think really hard on keeping Holtby over Laine. Hardly any goalies will be kept in your format and good ones will be available in the draft (likely even in some deeper rounds). Goalies can be so inconsistent year to year. That said Holtby would be my top goalie choice so if you're going to keep one he's my guy...
I do think you're getting decent value for Laine with this trade. The bigger question to me is should you keep Laine?
Personally. I probably do the deal.

In all honesty I wouldn't make that move, I would expect to get more than a couple picks that don't include a first and bit parts for one of the best keeper forwards moving forward

Get a first rounder for Laine. You already said he will be a keeper for him so he's worth more than a first round pick to him!
If he won't budge, I would do it for a 2nd and 3rd (and then try to lower your picks going back to him).

The key to his deal is that it's a keep 2 and the OP isn't planning to keep him. Id argue he should think hard about keeping him but I can see where he's coming from.
I have the same set up in one of my leagues and the thing is if you aren't planning on keeping him, and his value is really high (like laines), and you can get a player of similar production coming back for rest of season, along with top picks for next year, then you trade him. Your other option is letting him go for free at the end of the season.
Of course you always want more. The Gaudrau owner in my league wasn't going to keep him and was insistent on a 1st round pick coming back. He's out of contention and was offered 2nd and 3rd rounders. He didn't trade Gaudrau and will now be letting him go for nothing next year. He regrets this and wished he traded him for any pick now.

thanks guys for the great feedback. I ended up making the deal and got a 1st and 5th rounder. The first will be likely 1st or 2nd overall after the 2 keepers...
