    Default breakout players 2017-18

like Scheifele/Ehlers/Pastrnak/Wennberg and others who should be the players who are having a good 2016-17 but make that step to must own territory?

    Rantanen seems likely.

Selfishly, I'm hoping the hot runs by E. Lindholm and Burakovsky this season can carry over to next.
I think that whole Canes trio could be the answer here: Aho, Teravainen, Lindholm.

Dvorak might be an option -- has shown flashes this year. Buchnevich as well.

I'm curious to see what Barzal can do once he cracks NYI's roster next season.

Good names here, all these players have a good chance to make that jump.

Rantanen seems a really good bet for a jump. Considering the hot mess that is the Colorado Avalanche he's done pretty well this year. I'm not sold on Lindholm. He looks impressive to watch but the point totals don't seem to match. A fifth year breakout?

I like the Preds pair, and the Canes trio mentioned above. I could see Dubois surprising some people next season.
Scott Wilson in hits leagues could get a bump in Pitt.
Brett Ritchie is another guy I like to step up his game.
Sam Bennett is already here, but I think he takes a major two strides forward and could even be the best forward on that team by the end of next season.

I think, although he has already stepped up in ppg from last year, Sam Reinhart will have even better numbers next year with his bro Eichel. A little more mature team, I think Buffalo is gonna be a real offensive treat next year and beyond.

Agree with Rantanen, big fan of him. Anders Lee is someone I'll be keeping my eye on. Mantha and Fabbri should have bigger roles with their teams. Ristolainen, Parayko and Hamilton could have monster years next season on the blue line.

He's already been mentioned a couple of times... I believe Sam Reinhart will score 60 minimum, and likely close to 70 next year if he is healthy all season. He is my #1 Ehlers/Draisaitl of next year. I like Axe's pick of Mantha. 60+ for him sounds good to me. Drouin is another one I like to break out pretty strong for 60+. And my dark horse is Clayton Keller. If he is up all year I think he can potentially do Marner-like things.

As McGuire says, "the best player in the NHL that nobody talks about." Wennberg. 0.82 ppg now. Could see a small hike in numbers next year. I think he's Backstrom 2.0 in the making.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
