Who to give up for Mackinnon ?

Ok I'm in last place. Selling off non-keepers for draft pick upgrades.

A contender wants to dump Mackinnon. He is out of waiver moves. He would like to move Mackinnon and a mid round pick for a late round pick.
He's asked for a list of players I would be willing to move under those circumstances.

what grouping should I offer up ?

In a keep 5 league, why would you bother trading for Mackinnon if you are out of contention this year? You have more than 5 better keeper options on your roster already. Stand pat, pal.

If that's the case, then isn't the answer that you'd trade any of your non-keepers for a draft pick upgrade?

You need to tier your non-keepers and assign the value of a draft pick that you want back in return for them.

Pick your favorite 5. The 3 remaining are your top tier trade bait for picks. Everyone is available. Then it goes something like this:

Give him the option of keeping McKinnon and dumping his crappiest player on you for a higher draft pick. If you're our of it get as high of picks as possible. Everyoneone is available, you only want picks and their crappiest players if it works for them. Although if he won't budge on his picks take McKinnon and try to move him for another pick.

Depending on his need I may start with wheeler.
