Marchand and Wheeler for Crosby and Foligno Trade

I got offered Marchand and Wheeler for my Crosby and Foligno. Crosby is the better player over Marchand, but this season Marchand hasn't been a slouch.

The plus I see is that Crosby at the end of the day is a center in a league where the center pool is too deep, while Marchand is a LW which imo is at a premium.

Foligno seems to be on the decline, and I see Wheeler finishing the season stronger.

Is this a good trade for me or am I looking at it the wrong way?

I can't speak about other leagues, but in my league, managers are stingy af, so I wouldn't get the value for Crosby that he deserves even if I tried. That's why when I receive an offer that doesn't seem half bad, I consider it and ask around for opinions.

I look at it like this: Team A - Crosby, Getzlaf, Arvidsson, Foligno, Okposo, Zuccarello or Team B - Koivu (Pickup from WW), Getzlaf, Marchand, Arvidsson, Okposo, Wheeler

In this scenario, Team B doesn't even look too bad to me, but that's just my opinion. Maybe the right decision is to just keep Crosby and Foligno, but I was looking for a shakeup on my team as well.

Good Managers are often stingy but if you aren't going to get what Crosby is worth, I think you answered your own question and you don't move him. Trading is fun, I love it, and I get wanting a shakeup so maybe try and move Foligno while he still has some value but I wouldn't be taking that deal for Crosby, but hopefully others post so I am not the sole voice of dissent
