Just read Craig Buttons list- is Clayton Keller a gamebreaker??? Sorry about all the player X or Dubois- posts. Basically just have to target the best FA prospect available as my 12th keeper and trade Sharp for a pick and my (re-build) season is done- lol!

As per our leagues rules, any undrafted player that plays one game up can be held if plucked from the FA list. i really like this kid, but i wont have a shot at him at the draft table next season..

I'd say there is a chance, yes. If his season ends before Arizona's and the Coyotes want to make sure Keller turns pro now instead of going back to school, they could entice him by burning a year from his ELC already this season. It's possible Vancouver considers the same with Brock Boeser. Buffalo did the same thing last year with Hudson Fasching.Originally Posted by finnys_fanatsy
If it doesn't cost you anything significant, I would probably roll the dice. But as said, his season needs to end early enough and both sides must want that, so the odds are not great.

Keller for the future, but next year I'm not sure if he'll be in front of PL... college guys tend to not be in as good of a shape than junior guys, just look at Vesey..

the difference though is Keller is a few years younger and much more talented than Vesey. I don't see Vesey being anything more than a 35 pt player but Keller on the other hand I can see him cracking 60-70 pts when its all said and done.

100%. As much as I like PLD's chances of making a quick, albeit modest, impact on CBJ next season... Keller is the real deal.
Probably the best pure offensive prospect out there right now.

I am in the camp that Keller will be a one-and-done with BU. I like him better for possibly a few games this year, likely next year, and all the years going forward. It's not close for me.
