I do not want anything to do with Duchene coming in return for Matthews. Kreider is a good enough piece for me to counter with - if the league includes all the main peripheral stats. but then I'm going for the jugular,
A player like Matthews, his ceiling is largely unknown. on pace for 72pts playing with Hyman, Brown and Nylander throughout the year - 3 rookies! Think about that... what could he do in 3 years time when all of them have fully adjusted to the NHL? 85? 90? 100? Not to mention, the 4 other rookies in the line up every night, meaning other teams have leaned on his line with top pairings most of this year.
I would want an Ovie/Crosby level return - based on his unkown ceiling. Unreasonable you say? GOOD. Cuz you should not be looking for a 'fair' return in the other owners eyes.

What's the scoring in the league since its not your sig league? If its points only I don't know if I would do it, but if there are lots of peripherals Krieder's value goes up so I would consider it for Draisaitl

No to Draisaitl either... riding shotgun to McDavid - he's probably looking at 80+ pt/yr.
The idea is to acquire and stockpile high end fantasy hockey players - not trade them away. Especially years prior to their prime.
