Protect Klefbom and either Matheson or DeAngelo
My team is dead last. Rebuilding process. New team gets added next year. Must protect 2 out of these 4. Points only, top-4 count in total points.
Yandle
Klefbom
Hanifin
Matheson
DeAngelo
Finished a point away from title two years ago. Plan to be back on top two years from now. Klefbom wasn't part of my plans at the beginning of the season, but he seems to be emerging as the top dog in Edmonton lately.
I'm likely to lose 1 of these guys.
With deadline a week away, pondering my options on to who I may be able to move.

Klefbom and DeAngelo for me
Assuming it is a points only league, I would be protecting Yandle and Klefbom. If you want to be back at the top in 2 years time, these 2 guys will still have the most value out of all these names. There is a chance that Hanifin's value goes up but the other two will never have much value.
Yandle is a keep. For the second guy, I like Hanifin because you're rebuilding. He showed his talent at the start of 2016-17 and is still really young. Klefbom is only this good because Edmonton doesn't have a true offensive threat from the blueline. Once that happens, he'll turn into more of a Vlasic type of player, especially since his "real hockey" value is so high. I'd trade Klefbom now and seize upon the hype.

For both are the best now and for next year. I dont think the Oilers are getting another D to replace him

Yandle and Klefbom for me as well.
"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary, full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen." - Sterling Archer
"Don't spray that urine on my sons window. If you want a dollar for doing nothing, walk to Canada." - Malory Archer
“Anyone who thinks the pen is mightier than the sword has not been stabbed with both.” - Lemony Snicket
Another Yandle/Klefbom vote.
See if a contender will take on Yandle though. At that point I would be happy with any of the other 3. Slight edge to DeAngelo though.
