    Default Stamkos skating

Skated on his own for the first time today. Mid-march is still the best case scenario, or it could be mid-may. Man, this guy has been unlucky with his freak injuries.

Could be a big boost to my playoff run if he's even a 75% Stamkos.

If Tampa play's there cards right, and can make the playoffs with Stamkos on the IR... they could bring in like 8 million worth of rental players and make a big run!

Stamkos is still skating in mid-March but the team now says that it is unlikely that he will return prior to the end of the regular season as per TSN. I think they are going to have him ready for the playoffs (if they make it) and maybe a 2-game stint at best just before the end of the season if they need the points for a push, but nothing more...

I'm still looking to scoop him up in 2-weeks time in my 1-year league if I go the distance in the playoffs as we do not have any IR slots.

Would love to have Stammer back for the playoffs, but not if it vastly increases his chances of re-injuring the leg.

Stamkos logged his first full practice participation today. "Still no timetable for return"

Hmm. Skating in full practise on a line with Kuch and Point sounds really optimistic. Why practise on a line if a return wasn't coming? But Bob MacKenzie is about as reliable as they come and he says "highly, highly, unlikely" stammer is back during regular season.

Either way I think my chances at winning this year are pooped now that I've been without Letang and Okposo too for the entire playoffs.

My season is over so my hope is TBay doesn't rush him back and he is 100% for next year.
