I forget Larkin as well in the list
I have been touting Ehlers over Pastrnak, but I am starting to change my tune of late. Pastrnak has been a beast.

Im different...
Ehlers (most talented of the bunch)
Larkin (having a sophomore slump - product of coach/system and limited opportunities - still possesses elite skill set)
Pastrnak (too one dimensional)
Galchenyuk (too streaky)

Sidenote, as a third party observer thanks folks for these rankings, makes me realize that I need to watch more Canadiens games, I didn't think Galchenyuk was in the same realm as Ehlers and Pasta in terms of potential going forward, so thanks!

I'm putting Ehlers forst - amazing talent and that team is going to be stacked offensively. Pasta is excellent, but I'm worried he's going to be more of a 40G, 25A guy, like a Rick Nash back in the day. I also agree that Galchenyuk is the wild card, depending on whether he stays in Montreal and can somehow be relied upon to play in more situations in order to get the ice time needed to be a 70+ point guy.
Larkin is better than he's showing, but I think he's merely the top of the next tier, followed by Rask and then Point.

I agree with this... adding to Chucky sticking in Mtl. a lot will change with Julien as coach... I think more likely he stays now. Although that sub 40% FO% will need to improve. gawd he's awful. That should drop him a full tier in any league that counts face offs.
Larkin, agreed top of the next tier and the ability. That said, if he can slow the game down around him (and himself at times) he could bridge to be half a tier below ehlers & pasta.
