How good is doughty?

In a keeper league, how good is doughty? Scoring system is 1 point each for goals and assists. Bonus point for points on the power play. 1 point for every 10pims. Is he equal to pk subban? Or just a slight downgrade?

IMO, Doughty is a better NHLer than Fantasy asset. I think Subban has a higher ceiling, it's just a matter of if he'll get the TOI in Nashville to reach it. Doughty will get his ice time but seems focused on playing an all-around game as opposed to putting up points.

I'd almost consider him the Toews of D-Men.

Suban has the higher ceiling point wise buy doughty you know what you're getting every year and he's the no 1 guy in every situation. Suban is not.

So doughtys situation on his team is better except that he plays on a defense first LA kings coache by Sutter. So you are never going to see doughtys top end point production.

I think this is a good question and a close call with probably no wrong answer. Personally I'm going doughty right now because of this lingering back injury rumor surrounding Suban. My answer could change next season.

his offensive upside is low in any system and any team IMO. I don't buy the Kings defense first system being a hindrance, look at what Karlsson is doing this year in a more defensive system
