He is obviously not having a strong year but he is only 22. Do you think he will still wind up being an elite player or would it be worth selling him high?

I think he's going to score 30 goals a year like clockwork for the next 10 years. Expect 60+ a year but I wouldn't expect 90. I like this kid and he had a really slow start. I think there's no question he's a keeper on your team in your signature.

I too see him as a consistent 60+ point guy. He is having an off year, no big deal.

I had him valued as a top 30 player coming into this season and haven't waivered on that. He's had a rough year, but I think he's going to be a consistent 65 ish point guy with the upside to get into the low 70's in his peak years. His value will be increased in leagues that count hits or with goal bonuses.

If I was drafting in a keeper or dynasty league tomorrow I'd have no problem using a pick in the 20-30 range on him.

Without a doubt, my least favorite word on these forums because most don't understand the definition of it. Dont take this personally, you are not alone who make this mistake.

If Forsberg becomes a consistent 30G, 30A player in the league (which I think he can become) then that makes him a pretty good player. Elite? No.

Am I selling Forsberg? Nope, not at this time. He's worth waiting on. Not to mention, as you said yourself, he's not having a strong year so now is not the time to sell him. The problem is, when he IS going well, you probably don't want to trade him at that point. Kind of a catch-22 I suppose.

There is no harm putting him on the block to see what kind of offers you get. But I'd want a very, very strong package before moving him...

Owners REJOICE!!!!!!! 9 points in 3 games. Blazing hot. And to think, I had him on the trade block 14 days ago.

Forsberg - Ryjo - Arvidsson combined for 8 points tonight. Best line going right now.

NOW is the time to sell him, if you truly want to sell him. Let me guess, you don't want to sell him now.

Honestly I may still shop him. 3 games does not make or break a player. If I can get a big haul for him, you bet I will

I was never selling him. I acquired him in December for marchrsault and RNH (I think an absolute steal) and expected ppg for the rest of the season. This guys a stud that had a tough start.
