Eichel Value??
In A 12 team Dynasty League (in sig), I am trying to trade for Jack Eichel. I have won the championship the last two years and am going for the three-peat.
Eichel's owner may be willing to part with him for one of Rask, Talbot or Murray and a RW (probably Corey Perry).
My questions: Which goalie would you include and do you think this a fair trade and not overpayment? Is Perry the RW I should include in the trade?

I would like to think that one of those goalies should snag you Eichel alone, let alone adding in Perry. Perry's value is so low right now it's sinful.
I can appreciate your desire to own Eichel but you are so damn deep at center as it is. Do you really need him?

My thinking is that some of the my centers are or soon-to-be on the wrong side of 30 and I have a surplus in goal that I should turn into a younger asset.

Another manager had inquired about Matt Murray a couple of weeks ago. He just sent me a trade offer of Duchene for James van Riemsdyk.
What do you think about packaging Murray, Duchene and one of Teravainen or Marchessault for Pacioretty and van Riemsdyk?

Last week was trade deadline in my dynasty league. I wanted to offer Giroux + 1st round prospect draft pick (should be around 7th overall) for Eichel + lower pick. I didn't do it. I hate myself.
I hope he slows down over the next weeks. He's been under the radar because of his injury, but next year his value is gonna skyrocket. Make offers for him before it's too late.

Think about it this way... How far apart do you think Eichel and McDavid are? If I am the Eichel I would want the moon.
If the Eichel owner wants Rask and Perry then that is exactly what you give him.

he's going to be a 70+ point center heavy on goals with great shots. Should have a ton a value you in your league. Rask/Perry I would do but I would build up to that offer as my last one.

I agree with this statement. While there is a significant gap between Eichel and McDavid, there are very few people that I would rather have than Jack Eichel in a keeper league. Eichel will be in the top 10 in NHL scoring more often than not over the next decade. If you can get him for Rask and Perry, that is a move you make without second thoughts.Originally Posted by Moses

I second Rask and Perry. Do what it takes. This guy is a stud and will be for a decade.
It's amazing how low people value him, compared to McDavid, Mathews, and Laine. Next year people will figure out he belongs in that same mix and his value will go up.
I traded him for shea weber and I got a pick upgrade as well, right when he was coming back from injury this year. Arguably the best trade I made all year and I made 13 trades.
Buy him before its too late and his price becomes ridiculous.

I would try to get him for Perry and Rask too. The Bruins may slow down even more in coming years, and Perry isn't getting any younger.
